At our last meeting, we were treated to view the handiwork of two stashers. Their projects are related to quilting, just not in a traditional way.
Kay made these adorable Christmas ornaments for each of her grandchildren.
These marvelous counted cross stitch made by Bobette were admired by all.
Colleen demonstrated a clever method of fabric folding and storage at our last meeting. She used an 8 inch wide plexiglass ruler, placed the cut end of the fabric on the ruler and rolled the fabric on the ruler just like a bolt of fabric. She slid half the roll off the end of the ruler and folded it over, making all her pieces uniform in shape and size.
Colleen has her fat quarters folded to fit into IKEA CD boxes. The size of the fabric storage container will determine what size ruler to be used for folding.
