A felt advent calendar was created for 200 sisters in Kay’s stake. When the Relief Society presidency needed help making them, Kay was there. She explains, “I like to use my sewing skills to serve others.”

Stasher Kay says, “My life has certainly been changed by my ‘quilting friends’ who invited me to join their Stashing Sisters group many years ago. They are very tolerant of the fact that I rarely work on quilts at our retreats. The love we share and the bonding has definitely changed my life.”
