“I’ve saved kids’ worn out jeans, cut squares years ago and was encouraged to finish by my sister stasher Cindy. I don’t know where the idea came from – we laid out a row at a time, so there is no real pattern”, Carey comments.

She continues, “I hope my kids will be touched by this quilt but who knows? I’m pretty sure one of my daughters will be pleased because she’s as sentimental as I am. The quilts I own represent love, so that affects my world in positive ways each time I consider”.
