“Down On the Farm” Design by Jeanne Lowry, Made by Cindy

The other night I finished piecing this “Down on the Farm” quilt top. It was a block of the month project in 2004 from my favorite “Quilts & Fixins” quilt shop in Jonesboro, Georgia. I’ve had the blocks assembled since 2004 so just had to add the flying geese around the barn, the 2 churn dash rows, sashings, cornerstones, and borders. The colors in this one are stunning! Thanks to Jeanne Lowery for another fun design! I’ll be going for some quilting handwork next. Stay tuned, but don’t hold your breath!
